Growing up as a child in Miami, Florida, I loved sitting in the sun and walking barefoot in the grass, admiring the different animals around me. Growing up, my family and I would spend weekends at the beach. I have always been intrigued by marine life. I also had many pets, such as turtles, a rabbit, an iguana, birds, and many cats and dogs. My grandma brought me National Geographic children's magazines when I was a child. She knew I admired watching National Geographic on TV, PBS nature shows, Local station WLRN nature shows, and many others.  I have volunteered with organizations focused on helping the environment, from parks to nature preserves. Join me as I share my journey in nature, sharing fascinating facts about animals, plants, trees, and so much more, celebrating the endless wonders of our planet.
